One of my favorite parts about being a birth photographer is that I have the opportunity to get to know the amazing people who book with me on a more personal level. I am here to celebrate you! Here is a breakdown of what to expect through my process, better yet your experience. I pride myself in making this journey as easy and as memorable as possible!

Step one
The first step is to secure your due date and the two weeks prior to and after it. This is done by paying your non-refundable retainer. With this, you will electronically receive a questionnaire that will go over all of the things that are important to you as well as your comfort levels and details about your birth plan. Next, you will receive a contract. After both of those documents are returned, we will briefly go over the questionnaire via phone/email/messenger and any questions that may arise. Around the 34-36 week mark, I love to meet in person over coffee or via zoom to just get to know each other and dive deeper into the details of your birth plan. If you're local to me, consultations may be scheduled prior to or around the time of booking.
Step two
Once your due date is secured, I will be on call for the entire month around it. At any time, you are welcome to reach out with any questions and concerns. Your coverage will include active labor from around 6cm to up to an hour after birth. Once baby is here, it typically takes 4-6 weeks for your gallery to be ready to view. I will however provide you with a photo to use as a birth announcement within 24 hours of the birth so that you can share the exciting news with your family and friends.
Step three
My favorite step!! Of course getting to watch you and your labor dance also tops my list but I LOVE when you and your support have the chance to relive the entire breathtaking story all over again. It's so special! It's easy to miss or overlook the details when you are in the midst of it all! Once your photos are ready to be viewed, I like to invite you to my office in Clarksville where we will privately view your story. During this time, we will go through and select any additional products you may want. Your online gallery will be made available to you at the end of this appointment.
